Karl Allen is a photographer based in Hertfordshire, England.
Karl predominantly works within and around the Hertfordshire/London area. His primary work focuses around the genres of portraiture and documentary. His particular interests are focused around the theme of identity and this is reflected within his work centred around the narratives set within.
Originally hailing from a fine art background Karl shows variation through his work, exploring creative projects that step away from the traditional concepts in photography.
Whilst not telling stories from behind the lens, Karl can be found shredding across mountains on his snowboard (notably Mt Hemel) or sitting comfortably painting miniature models.
